Hot Summer Nights this weekend in Riggins

Riggins is gearing up for the annual Hot Summer Nights event Friday and Saturday.

When the gates open at 4pm each day, flashback music will be provided by Dub & Dave, you can mill around at the kid’s games, purchase some good grub from the new and improved cook shack, thanks to Clyde Hirst, Mike Lyman, and crew which included the mayor and Texan volunteers from the Adventure Bible School at the Community Church earlier this summer. You will experience some new concrete poured by the crew above and tables donated from Mike & Debbie Frye of the Rodeo Club.

On Friday night, sit down for the community talent show, which is sure to bring a laugh, a tear and and huge applause.  The evening starts off with a performance by last years kid winner, Lexie Pottenger at 6:45. Between acts will be the traditional surprise act from the Canyon Camillions.

On Saturday the event will be joined by a slew of cars from near and far. Favorites that could appear include models from the collections of, Buzz Hardy, Steve Zeuhl, Mike Tillman, Gary Hegvet and Tom Travis.

At 6pm the Moe & Don Een Benefit quilt will be raffled off to a lucky winner. Get your tickets now from any Pinehurst quilt club member!

The Fabulous Chancellors will rock your bobby socks off starting at 9pm.
