Lewiston, ID – Vintage trailer camping goes cowgirl at the Inaugural Idaho Cowgirl Rendezvous at Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston, Idaho, from Thursday, September 6, 2012 through Sunday, September 9, 2012.
Idaho Cowgirl Rendezvous invites women of all ages to enjoy four days of outdoor cowgirl sisterhood that includes a catered dinner and breakfast, their choice of group and self-led activities over Lewiston Roundup weekend and a shuttle bus for transport.
“I can’t wait to share my part of Idaho with all these fantastic women,” says Julie Pierce. “I’m really excited to include everyone. Vintage trailers are a lot of fun but not required – the park has tent and RV spaces and a great list of hotels is available from Hells Canyon Visitor Bureau. Everyone is welcome!”
In addition to four days of camping, an appearance in the Lewiston Roundup Parade and a Vintage Trailer Open House, cowgirls can also choose to join the group for number of add-on activities: a half-day jet boat tour of Hells Canyon with Riverquest Excursions, a night of rodeo at the Lewiston Roundup and the after-rodeo dance.
Attractions around the Lewis-Clark Valley that campers can choose to explore on their own include Nez Perce National Historical Park at Spalding, historic trolley tours, two wineries, hiking trails, golf courses and more.
$40 Registration includes two catered meals and shuttle bus transport; does not include camping fees at Hells Gate State Park which range from $9 to $55 a night. Fees for additional add-on activities are $103 for the Jet Boat Tour, $20 for a Lewiston Roundup ticket and $5 for a Dance ticket.
Registration and more information can be found online at www.CowgirlRendezvous.com.
